Dialogues
In the Dialogues series, the artist places Ciclotrama in conversation with different fields of knowledge. With Fibonacci, the dialogue takes place with mathematics and the numerical law of growth. With Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Ciclotrama finds a parallel in how living structures organize themselves through branching. In Been Undone, the dialogue happens as a synesthetic translation of music into drawing.
Fibonacci and time
Fibonacci organizes expansion through a sequence—a logic of propagation where each term emerges from the relation
between previous ones. Along the branching of the weave, the artist writes the number of threads corresponding to each stage, allowing the accumulation to be visually followed throughout the growth of the form.

Santiago Ramón y Cajal and neurons
In dialogue with Ramón y Cajal, Ciclotrama finds a parallel in how living structures organize through branching.
His drawings of the nervous system reveal a growth that does not follow an ideal scheme, but responds to local forces, deviations, and adaptations.
The subtraction algorithm (-1) becomes
decisive, interrupting the regularity of division.
What emerges is not a fixed pattern, but a continuous process of forming an essential structure — without excess — one that unfolds as it transforms.

Been Undone
At the invitation of Peter Gabriel for his o/i project (2026), the artist created a Ciclotrama in dialogue with the song "Been Undone."
From this deep listening, the weave incorporates the spiral as an unprecedented element: arms that expand centrifugally from a circular center, holding in tension the movement suggested by the music.
Some systems of the weave operate through binary division, while algorithmic variations introduce asymmetrical paths inspired by the time shifts that escape the regularity of the song's hypnotic, steady groove.
What emerges is not a fixed pattern, but the record of a system that achieves its final configuration through the very process of being undone — opening the way for a new series.
