In the Expansion series, the rope starts from the ground and rises to the canvas, where it is opened.

Each rope unfolds only as far as its own number of threads allows, so that the limit of form emerges from the material itself.

The resulting field is topographical—a result of unfolding rather than projection.

On a Dacron canvas—material used in sails—the whiteon- white embroidery of the wind rose, taken from Portolan charts, appears as a gesture of reading, introducing the idea of navigating the unknown.

The ropes, each with different compositions, trace their own cartographies, evoking navigation systems and suggesting a new way of inhabiting the world, where each path defines itself from within.
