Impregnation
Visible reasoning
Impregnations constitute the first
consistent unfolding of Ciclotrama.
Starting from an initial rope positioned
on the ground, the work develops across a
surface—usually a white canvas—where
threads open without overlapping.
Here, the mathematical dimension becomes
more evident: the work approaches a visual
equation. Threads unfold across the canvas
like continuous writing, allowing one to
follow the reasoning of the form and the
path of each thread—as if the process itself
were visible.
The gesture retains something of craft—
undoing, remaking, reorganizing.
