Rhizomatic Labyrinth

In Labirinto Rizomático (Rhizomatic Labyrinths), the artist starts from a real place — a city block, a house— and, much like the Memory Palace technique, begins the exercise of mentally exploring this space.

The cumulative record of what is "seen" creates a juxtaposition of geometric volumes that not only captures but reinvents the place to highlight the multiple paths contained within it.

Details are left aside; the focus lies on the constructed volumes and the interstices
— the gap, the crack, the interval between two things. It is through them that the viewer's gaze enters and exits, acting as an active field of circulation.
