Within the exhibition space, the weavings escape the studio's laboratory scale to achieve their full potential: the artwork invades the space and begins to directly tension the forces that structure it. Each installation is inextricably site-specific. The installations operate as a response to the walls, the gaps, gravity, the play of light, the flow of the viewer, and the historical layer of the place. The artwork ceases to be contained by the space and instead constitutes it.
