Site-specifics
When the Ciclorama leaves the chassis and encounters architectural space, it ceases to be merely an object and becomes a response to the place — not only conceptually, engaging with the history and memory of the space, but also physically, responding to the tension, traction, and torsion of the elements in relation to gravity. The body of the work begins to negotiate with the real forces of the environment and utilizes the span between the anchorages to assert itself sculpturally in space.
